Kerala Management Association has 11 #studentchapters spread across management colleges in Kerala with over 1000 students enrolled as members.They have access to lectures and talks conducted by #KMA and also the opportunity to interact with business leaders from various sectors on a regular basis.They will also get to attend conclaves and conventions at highly subsidized rates and listen to the who's who of the business world.The inclination to ask questions and understand industry related aspects, however, lies with the students and they must, without hesitation, come forward to do justice to their presence.Management education is NOT just theory. The eligibility criteria can vary slightly among different IIMs.Structure: IPMAT typically consists of two sections: Quantitative Ability (QA) and Verbal Ability (VA). The eligibility criteria may vary slightly depending on the institute.Structure: CAT is a more comprehensive exam that assesses a candidate's skills in Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability (QA).Test Duration: The CAT exam is typically conducted over a duration of around 3 hours.Admission Process: The CAT exam score is used as a major component in the selection process, which may also include Group Discussion (GD), Written Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.In summary, while both IPMAT and CAT are entrance exams for management programs, IPMAT is specifically designed for the integrated BBA-MBA program offered by select IIMs, whereas CAT is a more widely accepted exam for admission into various postgraduate management programs across numerous institutes.
