I have personally had a very good experience so far here at WVU. Campus life is very fun, there’s tons of activities and people everywhere. I enjoy my classes a lot and I love the campus itself. I enjoy the food in the Mountainlair a lot and don’t mind the food at my local dining hall. My favorite thing is my major, Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostics. It’s a great pathway for what I want to do after my undergrad and is so interesting to me. The only thing I wish could be a little different are some of the professors. I have has some poor experiences already with a couple but overall, I’m excited to continue on with the next couple years here at WVU!

The student experience at West Virginia University is outstanding. There is many different ways for students to be involved on campus like the very active football and basketball scene, WVUp All Night which is a free event with crafts, food, and other activities, and there is over 500 student clubs. I have never felt unsafe on campus, and overall I am very happy here. I would say that one of the downsides for me is the nightlife, but that is because I am not the type of person to go out every weekend. However, if you are, there is more than enough nightlife in Morgantown. There are several different Greek life organizations that are very active, along with other places to hang out on a Friday night. WVU supports all of its students in every way possible, and I truly think that once you become a Mountaineer, you will never be happier. Let's Go!

This school is going bankrupt, there are way too many students and not nearly enough resources for them all. My dorm room freshman year had black mold so I switched to another dorm room and it had a really bad roach problem. The food is almost inedible and the professors have stopped caring. So to any incoming freshmen who are interested in going to WVU: Go literally anywhere else. I would've been better off throwing the $25,000 I spent into a fire. Also everyone does drugs and its a bigger problem than people here make it out to be.
